Course

The course will begin and end at Blockade Runner on the Intracoastal Waterway.  The seven mile Elite Division will be on flat water and open ocean.  The four mile Recreational Division will be on flat water.  Racers will have on the water assistance from the United States Coast Guard, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Sea Tow.  All racers must have a USCG Approved PFD with them to race.  You do not have to wear it, but must have it on your board or body to comply with state and federal law.

Additional Info

Exciting additions to the 2nd Annual Intracoastal SUP Cup include a $3,000 cash purse for the Elite Division and over $6,000 in prizes for the Recreational Division.  There will also be a Pre-Race Banquet on Friday night, May 14th, featuring a special guest presentation from Peter Trow.  The banquet also provides racers with an opportunity to meet fellow paddlers while having a great meal and listening to live music at the Blockade Runner.

Special Presentation by Peter Trow

On any day Peter Trow can be found chasing the wind and swell tow-in surfing, paddlesurfing, kitesurfing, foil surfing, or surfing his long board. Peter resides in the Central Coast of California and was the first pro kiteboarder from California when he started back in 1998. Before that Peter was a pro windsurfer, traveling the world to compete in big wave windsurfing contests.

Now Peter has been exploring the world in search of the perfect wave for standup paddlesurfing and will share his experiences with us on May 14th at the 2nd Annual Intracoastal SUP Cup pre-race banquet. Registration Fees

Registration for the Recreational Division is $65.00 and the Elite Division is $95.00.  The Recreational and Elite entry fees include the Pre-Race Banquet dinner and a commemorative race jersey.  Additional dinners for Friday’s banquet are $25.00. All registrations processed after May 14th will incur a $25.00 additional fee.  Proceeds benefit SUP Cleanup.
